Poly (formerly Plantronics) is the leading manufacturer of headsets for mission-critical applications. They offer corded and wireless solutions that include PTT functionality for public safety dispatch, air traffic control, radio dispatch operations, and training simulation.
Do you have headsets for use with Emergency Dispatch systems (such as those found at Police Departments) that can toggle between radio and telephone?
Poly makes a number of products for emergency dispatchers that are compatible with nearly every major radio console. These consoles are fitted with jackboxes that are configured for either “4 wire” or “6 wire” operation. Please note that a headset, being a basic audio input/output device, cannot actually perform the toggling between the radio and the telephone. This functionality must be built into the console.
